We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience operating various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of materials within our warehouse distribution center.
Responsibilities
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials.
Perform order-picking tasks accurately to fulfill customer orders.
Maintain an organized and clean work area to promote safety.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Utilize warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and orders.
Assist with heavy lifting and transporting goods throughout the facility.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Experience
Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role in a warehouse setting.
Strong mechanical knowledge related to forklift operations and maintenance.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred.
Experience operating clamp trucks and order pickers is advantageous.
Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory management.
Must be capable of heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
