We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist/Coordinator to join our team. Duties
- Manage inventory levels through accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting using warehouse management systems .
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify discrepancies, inefficiencies, or stock shortages, implementing process improvements to enhance accuracy.
- Coordinate with procurement and sourcing teams to optimize stock replenishment, negotiate supplier contracts, and manage logistics for timely delivery.
- Oversee warehouse distribution activities including shipping & receiving, materials handling, order fulfillment, and stocking procedures.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, production planning, and logistics teams to streamline operations and improve supply chain performance.
- Verify freight costs for orders.
- Assemble materials for orders.
- Coordinate lubrication system installs, job costing and job invoicing.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, inventory management software, or supply chain analytics with a strong understanding of warehouse operations.
- Must have mechanical and or electrical repair service experience! (required)
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements effectively within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong negotiation skills for supplier management and contract negotiations; experience in procurement is a plus.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary; familiarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts is preferred.
- Must have valid drivers license, and must be 21 years of age.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with multiple departments and managing logistics inventory management processes. Pay: $20.00 – $26.00 per hour
