Position Overview
The HVAC Service Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating service calls and ensuring timely and efficient scheduling of HVAC technicians. This role requires a strong focus on customer service and operational efficiency to meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and prioritize incoming service requests from customers and technicians.
Schedule appointments for HVAC service technicians based on availability and location.
Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on service requests and dispatch times.
Maintain accurate records of service calls and technician schedules in our dispatch system.
Collaborate with the HVAC team to ensure all service requests are handled promptly and efficiently.
Assist in resolving any scheduling conflicts or customer inquiries as they arise.
Qualifications
Proven experience in dispatching, preferably in the HVAC industry.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with dispatch software.
Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems is a plus.
