Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst & Reporting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing supply chain processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting the development of strategies that enhance operational efficiency. You will play a key role in collecting, analyzing, and reporting data to senior management to support decision-making and improve supply chain performance.
Responsibilities:
Analyze supply chain processes and define performance metrics.
Collect and analyze data related to procurement, inventory management, logistics, and production.
Develop actionable insights to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and lead process improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless process integration.
Develop and enhance reporting systems; support automation efforts.
Conduct risk analysis and identify potential bottlenecks within the supply chain.
Perform cost analysis and develop cost optimization strategies.
Provide regular reports and presentations to senior management to aid strategic decision-making.
Contribute to digital transformation by adopting and implementing new technologies.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mining, Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, Geology, Metallurgy, Materials, or Electrical Engineering.E
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in procurement management within the mining sector.
SAP Proficiency: Proficient in SAP; experience with system integration is preferred.
Skills: Strong negotiation skills with a focus on securing favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
Analytical Skills: Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing procurement strategies.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in negotiation and vendor relationship management.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction materials, equipment, and services.
Language Skills: Proficient in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced expertise in SQL and data analytics.
Proven ability to conduct high-quality reporting and analysis within supply chain management.
Proficiency in advanced Excel and Power BI tools for comprehensive data analysis.
