Title: Senior Ocean Freight Specialist, Hoofddorp

You will assist our clients with Supply Chain Services focusing on Ocean Forwarding
Create shipment orders and follow standard operating procedures to ensure delivery of the shipment to the final customer
Track and trace of ocean forwarding shipment and reporting the status; identify incidents and ensure resolution of incidents
Prepare, control and distribute all required ocean forwarding documents to counterparts (carrier, consignee, supplier, customs broker, etc.) and then check responses from counterparts and finalize validation of required documents
Assist the Support Team in the incident and exception management resolution
Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers
Perform overseas communications with the Asian agents
Perform IT systems related tasks to provide up to date information on shipments
Responsible for the procurement and the development of our road freight products, sourcing for qualified partners, including domestic and international services
Functie-eisen
3-4 years of experience in logistics/freight forwarding industry preferred.
Good team player, service-oriented and self-motivated
Organizational and decision-making skills
Strong communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Be able to write and speak in English and Dutch. Chinese is a plus
