Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage day-to-day transport and project logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective service delivery.
Develop and implement strategies for entire fleet management, including effective maintenance, route optimization, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Oversee project logistics planning, including heavy lift and oversized cargo movements.
Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver seamless solutions.
Monitor KPIs, budgets, and performance metrics of the Transport Division to drive continuous improvement.
Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and company policies.
Mentor and develop the transport and Project logistics teams to build capability and engagement.
Expand and retain the customer base, ensuring a higher level of customer satisfaction in service deliveries.
Prepare reports and updates for senior management and key stakeholders.
Skills and Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business
Administration; MBA would be a definite advantage.
Professional qualifications in Logistics / Project Management would be an added advantage.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in transport and project logistics, with at least 3 years in a management role.
Proven expertise managing large fleets, subcontractors, and complex logistics projects.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Transport Management Systems (TMS) and MS Office.
Innovative and entrepreneurial approach.
