Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing – Logistics (Warehouse, Rail, Assets & Services)
As a Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in providing strategic leadership and logistics procurement support to our Advanced Materials (AM) business unit. You will have responsibility for managing AM’s global and regional Logistics commodity for Rail freight, Warehousing, Logistics Assets (e.g., ISOs, railcars, Chassis, Trailers), and Logistics Services and driving competitive strategies. This critical role will be responsible for the sourcing, qualification, selection and contracting of freight, warehouses, assets and logistics services, ensuring cost-effective, efficient, and reliable transportation, warehousing, and logistics solutions to support AM’s manufacturing and distribution needs, and fostering positive business relationships across AM and the logistics supplier network. Your expertise in logistics procurement will be instrumental in driving business growth.
You will report directly to our Sr Director of Logistics and work out of our Morris Plains, NJ, Houston, TX or Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on the overall global supply chain strategy of the organization by leading the development and execution of detailed category strategies and strategic agreements with suppliers, optimizing total cost of ownership, service, and working capital and mitigating risks.
