Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Logistics Specialist in HQ in El Maadi . The Logistic Senior Specialist will be responsible for managing communication, analyzing supply chain operations, ensuring customer service excellence, overseeing exports, and optimizing efficient supply chain management processes.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor monthly shipment schedules to ensure accurate arrival and departure timelines and enable contingency planning in case of delays.
- Coordinate and communicate with shipping lines, freight forwarding agencies, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Analyze logistics costs, monitor variances, and support cost control activities through system closing and reporting.
- Manage logistics invoice dispute processes, including investigation, follow-up, and resolution within agreed lead times.
- Control trucking stayover, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to minimize delays and additional costs.
- Contribute to contracting activities, vendor registration processes, and cost-saving or improvement initiatives.
- Lead the timely settlement of contracted shipping line dues.
- Prepare cash requirements and payment priority plans related to logistics operations.
- Manage the end-to-end export process for assigned markets or accounts, from order generation to final dispatch.
- Ensure effective coordination with internal departments and external partners throughout the export cycle.
- Maintain accurate communication with shipping lines and freight forwarders to provide clients with reliable shipment information and collect Bills of Lading.
- Work closely with customers, colleagues, and third parties to ensure compliance with deadlines, procedures, and operational requirements.
Qualifications
– B.Sc. degree
– 4-7 Years' experience A great amount of temperament.
– Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
– High attention to detail and accuracy.
– Excellent command of written and spoken English.
– Strong planning and organizational skills.
– Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
