Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Spare Parts Specialist to oversee and optimize spare parts inventory management, procurement, and distribution. This role ensures seamless spare parts availability to support operational efficiency while managing warehouse operations, customs clearance, import/export processes, transportation scheduling, and system operations (GWMS, CRM work order management, and defect returns).

Key Responsibilities

1. Logistics & Inventory Management

Supervise spare parts storage and timely delivery to internal and external stakeholders.

Manage 3PL warehouse performance, ensuring operational efficiency and inventory accuracy.

Oversee import customs clearance, including documentation preparation, tariff classification, and duty/tax calculations to facilitate smooth entry of parts into Morocco.

Monitored, documented, and reported daily logistics data. Validated supplier – provided data accuracy and conducted forecasts for future demands.

2. Supply Chain Coordination

Lead end-to-end inbound/outbound logistics, from warehouse to customer destinations.

Optimize transportation modes, routes, and schedules for cost and efficiency.

Manage defective part returns: coordinate inspections, local sorting, and shipments to headquarters.

3. Compliance & Reporting

Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Generate inventory/usage reports and analyze historical data to forecast demand and minimize stockouts.

4. Tools Management

Maintain regional tool inventory accuracy and utilization.

Schedule calibrations proactively to meet deadlines.

5. Procurement Support

Cultivate supplier relationships, assist in contract negotiations, and manage spare parts orders.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration

Communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders to drive task completion.

Utilize Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and supply chain software proficiently.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.

3–5 years of experience in spare parts/inventory management.

Proficiency in WMS and supply chain software.

Working knowledge of Moroccan import/export regulations (familiarity with regional logistics rules is a plus).

Flexibility for business travel and non-standard hours.

Fluency in English; French/Arabic/multilingual skills preferred.

Preferred Skills

Experience in the medical device industry.

Valid driver’s license.

Lean/Six Sigma certification or applied experience.
