You possess not just sales skills, but a deep understanding of client needs and the ability to build and nurture long-term, trust-based partnerships within the shipping and logistics community.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive market share and revenue growth across key trade lanes.
· Leverage your extensive industry network and market insights to identify and secure new business opportunities.
· Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration and success.
· Act as a trusted advisor to key accounts, ensuring service excellence and long-term client retention.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Minimum 5+ years of progressive sales experience within the international freight forwarding or shipping industry.
· Demonstrable history of achieving and exceeding ambitious sales targets (please be prepared to discuss specific metrics and achievements).
· Established network of contacts within the Indonesian import/export community is essential.
· Deep understanding of freight operations, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
· Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is mandatory.
