Role Summary
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused professional to grow and manage our business portfolio while delivering exceptional service to customers and business partners. This role is responsible for driving business growth, strengthening relationships with intermediaries, and supporting the achievement of the Branch's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow and manage the business portfolio within approved underwriting authority and company guidelines
- Provide professional and responsive service to customers and business partners
- Develop new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with intermediaries and clients
- Support and promote the usage of GenLink Cargo
- Assist the Manager in achieving the Branch/Business Unit's business plan and performance targets
- Drive profitable portfolio growth while maintaining underwriting quality
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and credit control guidelines
- Conduct risk surveys for renewal cases within the Broking Department's authority limits
- Maintain the Company's reputation and market presence through excellent customer service and business relationships
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline
- At least 2–3 years of working experience in the insurance industry
- Experience in process improvement, quality assurance, or customer experience management
- Good communication and relationship management skills
- Customer-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as in a team
