Position: Seaspan Marine Slip Tender Role
At Seaspan Marine, we’re looking for a Slip Tender to support our vessel operations in Delta. This hands-on role includes operating ramps and maintaining a clean terminal environment.
As a Casual Slip Tender, you will operate hydraulic systems while assisting in loading operations and maintaining overall terminal organization. Interaction with team members and using your problem-solving skills will be vital in this role. A commitment to punctuality and professionalism is expected.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate the ramp using specified hydraulic systems
• Monitor the booth during vessel arrivals
• Assist in loading items onto vessels
• Keep the terminal and yard clean and organized
• Locate trailers and complete additional tasks as needed
Requirements:
• Forklift Operator certificate is a plus
• Possess a courteous and professional attitude
• Excellent customer service and teamwork abilities
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Initiative to solve issues independently
