Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sea Freight Senior Operations Specialist. Position will be based in either or MAD, BIO or BCN offices. The Senior Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of sea freight shipments. This includes overseeing the movement of goods, coordinating with suppliers and customers, ensuring compliance with regulations and deadlines, and resolving any issues that may arise. The Senior Operations Specialist will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
Analytical skills, including the ability to perform data analysis and make informed decisions
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Sales skills, with the ability to identify business opportunities and build relationships with clients
Strong operations management skills, including the ability to organize and prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
Project management skills, with experience in planning, executing, and monitoring projects
Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures
Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as MS Office and logistics management systems
Fluency in English and Spanish (additional languages are a plus)
A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
