Tetrus Recruiting is partnering with a well-established freight forwarder in Piraeus to recruit an organized Sea Freight Operator.
This position is ideal for an operational professional ready to manage end-to-end ocean freight shipments within a structured team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Shipment Management: Handle end-to-end transport execution, from initial file creation to invoicing.
- Documentation & Processing: Issue and process all necessary shipping paperwork in compliance with export/import regulations.
- Commercial Operations: Execute file costing and prepare commercial quotes based on client specifications.
- Communication & Tracking: Maintain regular contact with overseas agents, carriers, and clients to provide continuous shipment status updates.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in Freight Forwarding or Liner Shipping.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of Incoterms, maritime terminology, and customs/export procedures.
- Software Proficiency: Competency in MS Office and ERP software (experience with Orian software is considered a plus).
- Languages: Excellent command of written and spoken English.
What We Offer
- Compensation: €1,200 – €1,400 net monthly.
- Perks & Benefits: Edenred card (€132/month for 11 months per year) + Private Health Care Coverage.
- Schedule: Predictable daytime hours from 09:00 to 17:00.
- Location: Piraeus (On-site).
