Reporting to Manager, SG Clean & Renewables Scheduling, the Scheduler, Clean Products will be primarily responsible for light and middle distillates operations within the Commercial Scheduling function in Asia. This role will support the Company’s Business Strategies and Performance by executing and optimizing clean product movements end-to-end, reducing cost and risk, and ensuring timely, accurate delivery across the value chain.
What You’ll Do
- Execute waterborne cargo movements for clean products, including Gasoil, Jet fuel, and Gasoline – ensuring compliance with all contractual terms.
- Manage end-to-end cargo execution, including nominations, shipment scheduling, demurrage exposure, documentation flow, and payment milestones.
- Partner with traders and optimize scheduling to capture operational value, improving efficiency, minimizing avoidable costs, and managing execution risks that may impact deal outcomes.
- Provide operational support for tankage-related activities in close coordination with terminal operators and service providers.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including traders, terminals, inspectors, surveyors, vessel operators, and counterparties, to ensure seamless cargo movements.
- Support global inventory management by maintaining accurate and timely weekly and monthly inventory forecasts.
- Ensure timely and accurate entry of cargo nominations, ticketing, and operational data into SAP and related systems, maintaining high data quality and reporting accuracy.
- Identify opportunities to improve scheduling and data workflows to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Submit timely nominations into Navarik, Mainstay, and other relevant third-party systems.
- Adhere to Phillips 66 compliance requirements, including Records Management, import/export declarations, and other applicable regulatory obligations.
- Resolve day-to-day scheduling and execution issues independently, escalating matters with material commercial, contractual, or safety implications as appropriate.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with industry peers, service providers, and internal stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring – Required
- Minimum qualification of a Degree, preferably in Chemical, Maritime or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in waterborne cargo operations, with proven scheduling experience for Gasoil and Jet fuel across the Asia Pacific region.
- Good understanding of clean product operations, logistics, and market fundamentals, including product quality and volumetric performance considerations.
- Working knowledge of cargo execution and control requirements, including relevant contract terms, inspection procedures, and loss control programs.
- Strong analytical and advanced computer spreadsheet skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders on commercial and operational matters.
- Results-oriented, with sound judgment, decisiveness, and the ability to work independently under pressure in a dynamic operating environment, including outside regular business hours, weekends, and public holidays as required
- Collaborative team player, able to work constructively in a close-knit and time sensitive environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational effectiveness, and analytical capability, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and global teams in a fast-paced setting.
