Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Salt Water Hauler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting saltwater from various locations to designated disposal sites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial driving and have experience operating various types of trucks, including tankers and dump trucks. This position requires a commitment to safety and efficiency while adhering to all regulations.
Responsibilities
Operate tanker trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles to transport saltwater safely.
Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials at designated sites.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and materials transported.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation of hazardous materials.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding schedules and any issues encountered during transport.
Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
Skills
Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on commercial driving, including operating tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, roll-off trucks, and dump trucks.
Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles.
Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.
Excellent navigation skills with the ability to read maps and use GPS technology effectively.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail for vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks.
This is an immediate hire for a hardworking driver seeking steady work and competitive pay in the Jewett, TX area.
You do not have to be local to the area—we welcome drivers from out of town who are ready to commit to the schedule.
Location: Jewett, TX
Schedule: 12-Hour Night Shifts | 4 Weeks On / 1 Week Off (subject to production volume)
Pay: $22–$25 per hour (DOE – Depending on Experience)
