Clarke Global Logistics is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Support professional to join our growing team in Port Melbourne.
This is a hands-on, office-based role suited to someone with a strong freight forwarding and logistics background who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment and enjoys converting opportunities into business.
About the Role
Working directly with the leadership team, you will be responsible for managing incoming sales enquiries, preparing high volumes of customer quotations, and supporting the end-to-end sales process.
You will work from company-generated leads including:
- Incoming phone enquiries
- Website enquiries
- Overseas agent requests
This role is ideal for someone with a proactive “hunter” mentality who is comfortable working at pace and enjoys building momentum through outbound follow-up and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and manage up to 20 customer quotes per day
- Respond promptly to inbound sales enquiries
- Conduct outbound follow-up calls and emails
- Support the full sales cycle from enquiry through to handover
- Liaise with internal operations teams to ensure smooth customer outcomes
- Build and assist in maintain strong client relationships
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in freight forwarding & logistics
- Strong understanding of international freight operations and pricing
- Previous experience in a sales support, internal sales, or business development role
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with a hands-on approach
- Comfortable working in an office-based sales environment
