Role Description
The “Sales Representative Maritime Transport” is a full-time, hybrid role based in Plovdiv, with the possibility to perform part of the work from home. The role involves developing and maintaining relationships with clients in the field of sea freight and forwarding, preparing offers and pricing, and negotiating terms and conditions. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating shipments with carriers and partners, monitoring transport processes, and ensuring timely and accurate documentation. The role also requires proactive communication with clients regarding shipment status, resolving issues, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize service quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience in sea freight, forwarding, or logistics sales, including client relationship management and negotiation
- Knowledge of international transport and trade practices, Incoterms, and basic customs procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, carriers, and internal teams
- Good organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Proficiency in MS Office and common business software; experience with transport or ERP systems is an advantage
- Fluency in Bulgarian and good working knowledge of English; additional languages are a plus
- Ability to work independently and in a hybrid setup, demonstrating reliability and accountability
- Relevant education in logistics, business, economics, or a related field is preferred
