About the Opportunity
We are recruiting for an international company in the premium marine and watersports sector that is expanding its European operations.
The company is seeking a Sales & Operations Manager based in Malta to combine local business development with responsibility for coordinating its European logistics operations.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who combines commercial ability with strong operational discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop sales across Malta with hotels, resorts, marinas, watersports operators, yacht owners and other customers.
- Build relationships with local dealers and rental partners.
- Coordinate demonstrations and customer activities.
- Manage day-to-day warehouse and inventory activities.
- Maintain accurate stock and serial-number records.
- Coordinate inbound shipments into Malta and outbound shipments across Europe.
- Work with freight forwarders and customs brokers on EU imports and exports.
- Maintain accurate shipping, customs and product documentation.
- Coordinate returns, warranty shipments and reverse logistics.
- Work closely with international operations and finance teams.
- Monitor stock, shipments, open orders and delivery risks.
What We’re Looking For
- Practical experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, freight forwarding or import/export operations.
- Working knowledge of EU customs and import/export documentation.
- Strong organizational and inventory-management skills.
- Commercial mindset and willingness to participate in sales/business development.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate across international teams.
- Fluent business English.
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel.
- Experience with dangerous goods/lithium battery transportation is a strong advantage.
- Marine, watersports or leisure-sector exposure is advantageous but not essential.
Compensation: €2,500 gross/month + performance-based commission
