REQUIREMENTS
South African citizen.
Code B driver’s license and own transport.
Office and client facing; available for network opportunities.
Willing to work overtime and be available after business hours.
Travelling to clients.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Senior certificate (NQF 4), but relevant Sales, Marketing or Business qualification will be an advantage.
2 – 3 Years relevant sales experience.
Knowledge and understanding of the Clearing and Forwarding industry, including Full Supply Chain, Imports and Exports process flows.
CAPABILITIES & COMPETENCIES
Motivated and professional individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Afrikaans. Skilled in entering new markets, understanding client and market dynamics, and applying effective sales and marketing strategies. Computer literate with solid industry and competitor knowledge.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Consistently achieve sales targets through effective forecasting, reporting, and proposal generation.
Identify and secure new business, close new clients, and ensure deal profitability.
Maintain strong client relationships, deliver excellent service, and negotiate contracts successfully.
The proposed salary for the role is a basic of R35k – R45k per month with additional commission incentives. The basic salary will be determined based on the value you are expected to bring to the business, taking into account your sales track record, industry network, and proposed performance targets.
