Position Overview
We’re looking for a Remote Sales Manager with a strong background in international freight forwarding and logistics. In this role, you’ll drive revenue growth by developing new business and expanding relationships with existing clients. You’ll work with a global client base and collaborate across internal teams to deliver customized logistics solutions.
This is a fully remote position open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S.
You must be self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, client-facing role.
What You’ll Do
Identify and close new business opportunities in international freight forwarding (air, ocean, warehousing, customs, trucking)
Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients
Understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions across the full logistics cycle
Prepare and present pricing proposals, RFP responses, and service solutions
Collaborate with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure smooth onboarding
Track and manage opportunities through the sales funnel using CRM tools
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to refine outreach and strategy
Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals and KPIs
Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance updates to management
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience in B2B sales in the freight forwarding industry
Strong knowledge of international shipping processes, including ocean and air freight, customs, and warehousing
Proven success in lead generation, deal closing, and relationship management
Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work remotely and independently
Familiarity with Incoterms, shipping documentation, container types, and routing options
Experience using CRM systems and managing a sales pipeline
Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications
Existing client base or active network within logistics, manufacturing, or retail
Experience working with both SMB and enterprise-level customers
Understanding of trade routes, freight pricing structures, and carrier relationships
Additional language skills or international market experience is a plus
