Task Responsibilities:
The position holder has to achieve clearly defined duties, objectives and results. The position holder is responsible for following all internal procedures when performing his/her duties and he/she must demonstrate best practice. He/she must act in accordance with defined methods and must report deviations to his/her superior. The position holder is required to initiate activities and actions and manage administration procedures within his/her field of responsibility. He/she must advise his/her immediate superior on discrepancies in the planned workflow.
The position holder is in general accountable for the accomplishment of following tasks:
Sales Activities & Develpment
Maintaining Customer Portfolio
Optimizing the business performance
Quotation managment
Allotment control
Customer Service
The position holder is responsible for reservations and booking of cargo shipments in the Cargolux system and co-ordinate with LUX Reservations Department in view of space and uplift guarantees freight.
He/she has to handle customer service requests related to the booking of their shipment request and co-ordinate with operations and parties involved
Essential Requirements For The Position:
General school leaving certificate of secondary education or equivalent
Previous exposure in a cargo booking office or enviroment is necessity
Knowledge of the logisitic process is a must
Excellent level in written en spoken Dutch and English is a must
Communicate effectivly and assertively
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to meet tight deadlines and good changemanagment skills
Result and target oriented
People and team oriented
Ability to work independantly
Knowledge of Microsoft office, teams, excel, powerpoint etc.
Working Conditions:
Full time permanent posistion based at Schiphol airport
Travel for visiting customers
Other occassional travel may be required
Certificate of good conduct will be required to be able to work at the airport
