**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Freight Broker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the transportation of goods for your clients. If you have a strong background in transportation management and enjoy building relationships with customers, we want to hear from you.
**Duties:**
– Utilize transportation management software to track shipments and manage logistics
– Build your own book of business
– Negotiate rates with carriers to secure cost-effective transportation solutions
– Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers
– Coordinate freight movement from origin to destination efficiently
– Provide exceptional customer service throughout the shipping process
– Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to optimize transportation services
**Qualifications:**
– Proficiency in transportation planning and supply chain management
– Experience in transportation sales, account management, and customer relationship management
– Knowledge of industry software for freight tracking and logistics management
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
