What’s The Role All About?
Providing technical assistance in the identification and appraisal of loss-producing conditions and practices in accordance with existing standards, develops specific accident prevention procedures, communicates safety and loss control standards and measures safety performance. Performs investigation or assessment of assigned hazard and safety event reports in Aviation Quality Database and coordinates corrective/preventive measures with concerned operating units.
Who Are We Looking For?
Bachelor’s degree
Open to candidates with at least two years of relevant work experience
Must have a strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills
Prior experience in ramp or cargo operations is a plus
Must have relevant Occupational Safety and Health certification
Major Responsibility Areas
Provide technical assistance in the identification of loss-producing conditions and practices in proposed or existing operations & processes in accordance with the company’s Safety Management Program
Perform preliminary investigation and analysis of accidents/incidents to identify major causative factors, prepares and submits investigation reports in accordance with established procedures and standards and record the investigation in the Aviation Quality Database
Performs assessment of assigned hazard and safety event reports in Aviation Quality Database and coordinate corrective/preventive measures with concerned operating unit/s
Performs research studies concerning the applicability of specific safety law, codes, regulations and/or standards to existing operations and processes
Attend Safety Action Group (GOSAG) meetings as Alternate Secretariat as well as other safety meetings and record minutes of meetings
