Tetrus Recruiting is partnering with an established freight forwarder based in Piraeus to recruit an experienced, hands-on Road Freight Manager for a newly created position driven by departmental growth.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will lead a dedicated team of 3 operations professionals, providing strategic and daily execution across European and CIS markets.
Mandatory Requirement: 7–10 years of hands-on experience in International Road Freight Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Reporting: Direct and mentor a 3-person operational team, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
- Scope & Freight Coverage: Manage and coordinate FTL, LTL, and groupage shipments (imports & exports) servicing all European markets and CIS countries.
- Asset-Light Operating Model: Oversee all logistics operations exclusively through a trusted, robust network of collaborating hauliers and transport providers.
- Execution & Tracking: Maintain active tracking across all active routes and swiftly handle any daily operational challenges.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 7–10 years of verified, direct leadership experience in International Road Freight.
- Carrier Network: Extensive background partnering with European transport networks and an established personal network of collaborating hauliers.
- Mindset: A hands-on operational leader who effectively balances managerial oversight with direct daily execution.
- Tech & Language: Full proficiency in English and practical working experience with ERP software systems.
What We Offer
- Compensation: €1,700 – €2,000 net monthly.
