The Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Road Freight Coordinator to coordinate road freight operations, monitor shipment activities, and support efficient transportation processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day road freight and transportation activities.
- Monitor shipment schedules, delivery timelines, and vehicle movements.
- Work closely with Road Freight, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Operations teams.
- Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and logistics partners regarding deliveries.
- Track shipment status and follow up on outstanding deliveries.
- Prepare, review, and maintain freight documentation and operational records.
- Support route planning and transportation scheduling where required.
- Monitor freight KPIs and prepare management updates.
- Help resolve routine transportation and delivery-related issues.
- Maintain organized records and document control procedures.
- Support process improvements across road freight operations.
- Promote accuracy and efficiency across transportation workflows.
- Assist with cross-functional logistics and supply chain projects.
- Support compliance with transportation procedures and operational requirements.
- Stay informed about road freight and logistics best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in road freight, transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, or a related role is an advantage.
- Good understanding of road freight and transportation processes.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Experience with transportation management systems (TMS), ERP platforms, or Microsoft Office is an advantage.
- Familiarity with route planning, shipment tracking, or freight documentation is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with international teams.
- UAE or GCC logistics experience is an advantage but not required.
- Relevant logistics or transportation certifications are welcome but not mandatory.
