We are Now Hiring aRoad/ Dispatch Supervisorat Rutgers in Piscataway NJ.

Our Road/Dispatch Supervisors are responsible for:
Communicates job requirements and responsibilities to drivers.
Takes responsibility for day-to-day scheduling, counseling and evaluation reports to local management.
Ensure dispatching boards are correct and runs are all covered.
Document all driver call outs, including early and late starts, and early and late finishes and be prepared to answer why.
Inform Maintenance department of any road calls.
Drive when needed to cover a route or bring bus to the shop.
Reports and documents all safety violations.
Observes drivers on the road and corrects safety problems on the scene while documenting violations.
Liaisons between drivers and both clients and organization in customer service issues.
Assists in dispatching, driving, interviewing, and miscellaneous clerical tasks as needed.
Meets all driver qualifications at location.
Obtains a CDL required to operate vehicles at location, maintains that license, and drives route periodically.
Additional duties as assigned.
To qualify as a Road/Dispatch Supervisor, you’ll need:
A High School Diploma or GED.
Supervisory experience with hourly employees, transit supervisory experience preferred.
Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel, and email.
Excellent verbal, written and relationalcommunication skills, with ability to appropriately interact with employees of all levels including drivers, customers,senior management, client representatives, union officials and general public; fluent in English.
Work extended hours regularly, including Saturday, Sunday and overnight shift.
Valid CDL with A or B, P and Air Brake endorsements is required with a clean MVR.
