Road and Traffic Design Engineer Jobs in India at Trublu Consulting
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roads and Traffic Design Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in road and parking layout design. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in horizontal geometric design, traffic impact assessments, traffic circulation planning and parking design, with a strong focus on safety and operational efficiency. Prior experience working with international design consultancies is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop horizontal geometric designs for roads, access roads, and parking layouts.
Ensure compliance with relevant road design standards such as AASHTO and local GCC regulations.
Propose traffic design solutions that improve circulation, safety, and efficiency within various development types.
Contribute to and support the preparation of Traffic Impact Studies (TIS), including data analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
Analyze site access and egress, intersection performance, and parking adequacy.
Prepare high-quality technical reports and design drawings.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients as needed.
Prepare layouts and design packages using AutoCAD and other design tools.
Use traffic modeling and analysis tools to evaluate capacity, delays, and level of service.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and Masters Degree in Transportation Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in roads and traffic design.
Proven experience in horizontal design of roads and parking layouts.
Familiarity with international and GCC parking and road design standards.
Demonstrated experience in Traffic Impact Studies and traffic analysis.
Strong skills in AutoCAD and traffic modeling software (e.g., SIDRA, Synchro, VISSIM).
Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working with international design consultancies is required.
