Retail Store Assistant Manager Jobs in Sacramento, CA at Falling Prices
We are hiring a FULL-TIME Assistant Manager at our Falling Prices store in Sacramento, CA. We are a fast-paced store with high volume freight and a large customer base. If you have a strong work ethic and a desire to work for a growing company, we want to hear from you!
Hours of operation are:
Falling Prices: Tuesday – Saturday from 9:45am to 6:15pm + occasional overtime.
Assistant managers will be required to be available during the above hours.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage a team of 3 – 10 employees
Support the manager in achieving the store’s goals
Delegate tasks to team members effectively
Ability to resolve employee workplace issues
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
Accurately and efficiently operate POS system to process cash/card payments
Maintain clean work environment by sweeping, cleaning, and disposing of boxes and trash
Provide excellent customer service
Stock and organize products
Lift and move various products within the store, including to and from shelving units, shopping carts, and other areas
Unload trucks/freight as directed by manager
Ability to lift up to 70lbs
Work efficiently in a team environment
Perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to use a forklift as needed
Previous retail management experience required
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00-23.00/hr
Location: One, Onsite
