Blumenthal Arts seeks Seasonal Retail Associates (Part Time) to assist with our new merchandise offering at Blume Studios. This seasonal position is tied to the operation of specific event offerings that will include nights, weekends, and holiday seasons. Weekly hours will range up to 29 hours per week with several months of employment followed by periods of downtime.
Your impact:
Open and close boutique, and ensure all areas are “show ready” throughout the day.
Perform all POS duties including ringing up merchandise, taking payments, and offering receipt.
Provide product information and answer questions to ensure a pleasant shopping experience
Ensure all merchandise and displays are labeled and priced correctly
Daily upkeep and maintenance of store’s space and fixtures
Advise Merchandise Manager on low-stocked merchandise, slow moving merchandise and all other customer needs and concerns.
Communicate and deliver daily sales reports to store team and Merchandise Manager
Ensure company losses are at a minimum in terms of loss prevention.
Process freight / merchandise in a timely and efficient manner

Previous retail experience, preferably at an independently owned business
POS system experience (Square preferred)
Inventory Management
Problem solving skills

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
