Position: Regular Full-Time Road Assist Fleet Technician
Road Assist Fleet Technician
We are looking for a reliable and caring professional to join our Road Assist team. You will be the first point of contact for members needing roadside support, providing mechanical repairs and towing services across British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to member road‑assistance calls and perform mechanical repairs, battery boosts, tire changes, lockout services, and towing.
- Conduct detailed diagnostic assessments to identify vehicle issues and formulate solutions.
- Carry out automotive repairs and maintenance, ensuring quality workmanship and timely completion.
- Assist members in all weather conditions while maintaining a positive experience.
- Promote BCAA memberships and affiliate products.
- Report issues and seek support as needed; uphold BCAA safety and service standards.
- Work rotational 24/7 shifts, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.
- Maintain BCAA vehicles, equipment, and tools in a clean and orderly condition.
Qualifications
- High school diploma (Red Seal Certification preferred).
- Minimum 5 years hands‑on automotive repair and diagnostics experience.
- Valid BC Driver Licence Class 5 with a clean driving record; able to navigate all vehicle sizes, including 5‑ton trucks and towing equipment.
- Ability to lift at least 70lbs while prioritizing safety.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a people‑first attitude.
- Comfortable working in a team and in rotating shifts.
- Driver safety awareness in compliance with ICBC changes.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $68,510.52–$85,638.12, based on experience and qualifications.
- Performance bonus target of 5% with potential to earn up to 9%.
- Base salary plus BCAA benefits, pension plan, and flexible benefits package.

Additional Information
Shift work is 8 to 11.25 hours per shift, scheduled one month in advance.
