We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tankers. This role involves transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. Responsibilities
Operate and drive flatbeds
Load and unload freight securely to prevent damage during transit.
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption.
Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the road.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding routes, delays, or issues encountered during transport.
Adhere to local, state, and federal transportation laws.
Experience
Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is required.
Experience with freight handling and loading/unloading procedures.
Knowledge of safe driving practices and vehicle maintenance.
Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps effectively.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
