join our team
at the Tavistock depot.
This physically demanding role is perfect for individuals who are fit, active, and enjoy working outdoors as part of a close-knit team.
Pay:
* £12.21 per hour
* Paid weekly
Schedule:
* Monday to Friday
* Start time: 07:00am – Job and finish
Key Responsibilities:
* Manual collection and loading of household waste
* Assisting the driver with bin loading and waste handling
* Supporting street cleansing duties, which include heavy lifting and movement
* Collaborating with the team to ensure timely route completion
* Occasionally you will be asked to drive a van to assist with the collection of any rubbish that has been ‘fly tipped’
Requirements:
* Previous experience in refuse collection is desirable
* Must be able to commute to Tavistock for a 07:00am start
* Physically fit with the ability to lift and carry heavy bins and waste items
*
Willingness to
work in all weather conditions and perform manual labour
* Cat ‘B’ driving licence
