We’re currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Refuse Drivers for a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity with a respected local client in Southampton
Pay: £16.50 per hour (Umbrella)
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
No weekends or bank holidays – enjoy a great
work-life balance
!
What you’ll be doing:
Driving a Class 2 refuse truck as part of a supportive waste collection team
Navigating routes between domestic and commercial customers
Assisting with loading waste at collection points
Emptying the vehicle at the depot
Delivering top-notch customer service and following health & safety procedures at all times
What we need from you:
A valid Class C (HGV Class
2) Licence, Driver CPC, and Digi Tacho Card
Physically fit and able to assist with the loading when needed
A strong team player who takes pride in their work
Ability to pass a driving assessment before starting
