Quality Assurance Specialist, Pro Audio Jobs in Leander, TX at Warm Audio LLC
6 month contract – capabilities to become full time w/ potential for $1hr increase $18hr if hired full time after initial contract (plus company benefits)
Job Knowledge/Technical Knowledge: Demonstrates a working knowledge of pro audio gear/sound, ie. microphones, microphone preamps, compression, EQ, guitar pedals, headphones and headphone amps.
-Visually test products to ensure they pass company standards
-Auditorily test products using microphones, tracks, compressors and headphones they pass company standards
-Ability to work in an assembly-line setting and be focused on the task at hand.
-Ability to work on repetitive tasks for several hours.
-Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
-Ability to use hands in a repetitive motion by turning products
-Lift and move cartons from warehouse to QA room and back
-Conduct minor repairs such as tube, bulb and headbasket replacements
-Assistant in unloading 18-wheelers full of new inventory
Occasionally employee will be in an environment with:
- Loading/unloading machinery
- Freight trucks
- Product bays
- Solder
Normal work hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:30pm
