Job Responsibility
Perform daily purchasing activities
Conducting market research & market trend to source on potential products
Identify and pursue new vendor opportunities and developing strong partnerships.
Analyzing and calculating purchasing costs and developing cost reduction strategies.
Negotiating and managing contracts with vendor, including costs and terms of supply, service, quality, timelines, etc to ensure the best deal.
Developing and working to improve purchasing processes.
Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Monitoring inventory control to determine purchasing needs and performing inventory management.
Research and selecting ideal freight forwarder and negotiating rates.
Working with other departments to incorporate with Purchasing SOP
Travel oversea for sourcing and negotiation.
Maintaining cordial working relationships with vendors, and supervising vendor activities and performance.
Assisting on new potential product testing.
Determining product specifications according to a number of various factors and uses.
Product understanding in details and knowledge and consulting market research materials to support on design & sales activities
Submitting proposals and designs for evaluation by management before moving to the next stage
Maintaining knowledge of market/industry trends, and market comparison.
Any ad-hoc assignments from time to time
Job Requirements
Malaysian only
Candidates must possess at least Degree
Prefer mandarin speaker due to business nature and mainly sourcing with China.
Fresh graduate are welcome to apply
Preferable candidate from E-commerce/ Live Industry background.
Prefer purchasing/ procurement from wellness/ healthcare industry
Willing to work in Puchong.
Travel oversea whenever needed.
