The Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for selecting sources, managing procurement processes, and overseeing logistics functions in line with company policies and procedures. Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, the successful candidate will ensure the timely availability, quality, and cost-efficiency of materials and services required by the company.Key Responsibilities
- Manage the supply chain, guaranteeing timely stock of spare parts, consumables, fuel, and lubricating oils at company stores and on the fleet.
- Ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and are procured at competitive prices.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with suppliers, facilitating effective collaborations and ensuring reliability.
- Monitor stocks on board vessels and oversee warehouse and store management to optimize inventory levels.
- Coordinate logistics operations to guarantee seamless delivery and storage of goods.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of three years’ experience in purchasing and logistics management, with a strong technical background relevant to the role.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Solid analytical skills and proficient use of computers and digital management tools.
- Professional interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
