Position Summary:
We’re hiring a Fabrication Project Manager to oversee the flow of materials, logistics, and customer communication from the shop side. You’ll coordinate directly with clients, manage shipments, track production schedules, and support our fabrication team with the details that keep jobs running on time. This is an office/shop-based role—not field—and requires sharp communication, follow-through, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to manage fabrication timelines
Track material orders, inventory, shipments, and delivery logistics
Schedule freight carriers, ensure correct packaging, labeling, and delivery documentation
Communicate with clients regarding schedules, changes, and expectations
Support shop team with updated cut lists, revisions, and drawings as needed
Review order specs to ensure accuracy before fabrication begins
Solve problems quickly and efficiently when issues arise with materials or schedules
Qualifications:
Fabrication, or logistics project coordination
Familiarity with architectural sheet metal or custom metal fabrication preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Able to manage multiple moving pieces without dropping the ball
Proficiency with spreadsheets, email, and shipping platforms
Detail-oriented with a customer-first mindset
