Location: Minnesota or North Dakota
What You Will Do:
Play the lead role in the design and coordination of roadway, drainage, and utility projects for our public and private clients.
Collaborate with other groups/ disciplines within the company to deliver top quality projects and unparalleled service to our clients.
Perform design calculations, quantity and cost estimates, and plan preparation.
Compile, write, and edit quality technical reports, feasibility reports, letters, memos, and specifications for projects.
Assist with proposals, project budgets and schedules, planning activities, and public involvement and other presentation opportunities.
Oversee the work of EITs or Technicians.
As you advance in your career, you may also plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to ensure that projects are delivered within prescribed time frames and budgets. The coordination activities include regular communication with the client, project schedule and budget oversight, and subconsultant coordination.
What You Will Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited school and 4-7 years of experience in Transportation / Municipal engineering or related field.
Ability to prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents and have a functional understanding of design software packages, preferably AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation, and Hydro
CAD.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
MN PE license or the ability to obtain it within six months.
Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
