Overview
We are looking for a leader that wants to grow and has a track record of getting things done. We have a great team and need a leader that can support and guide them. Oversee and manage all people, processes and activities related to consistently delivering products that meet or exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of department. Ensures products are manufactured on-schedule, within quality and safety standards.
- Manage the Leads, Training/QA Specialist, Supervisor and floor workflow.
- Actively seek out ways to increase efficiencies in the company internal processes as they relate to the day-to-day operations.
- Monitor inventory levels to be sure enough material is on hand to maintain production.
- Manage production scheduling and capacity planning.
- Understanding of freight distribution, and shipping/receiving operations.
- Monitors the effectiveness of systems, policies and procedures and makes appropriate recommendations to ensure daily operations are efficient; implements approved changes.
- Manage 5-10 production employees with rapid growth.
- Confirms adequate staffing in order to meet pre-established target dates. Conducts performance evaluations; recommends salary adjustments; schedules and approves overtime; takes disciplinary actions as necessary; addresses complaints and resolves issues.
- Coordinate and manage employee training programs and processes.
- Assist in the hiring process including interviewing and selection of employees.
- Assembly as available/needed.
Qualification
- 2-4 year’s supervisory experience
- Proven abilities in project management, multi-tasking and time management.
- Production experience
