Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Procurement & Logistics Specialist with solid experience in managing both logistics (60%) and procurement (40%) functions, specifically in project-based environments such as energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing and managing the supply of technical materials including electrical equipment, cables, transformers, switchgears, circuit breakers, and related components.
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 7–8 years of combined experience in procurement and logistics, with a focus on project-based sourcing.
Strong understanding of electrical and industrial material procurement processes.
Proficient in SAP ERP systems and procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba or equivalent.
Strong negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in energy, utilities, EPC, or large-scale infrastructure projects is highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics (60%)
Coordinate end-to-end logistics for the timely and cost-effective delivery of project materials.
Manage international and local shipments, customs documentation, and compliance.
Interface with freight forwarders and logistics service providers.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper documentation of all logistics activities.
Procurement (40%)
Execute procurement activities for technical materials based on project specifications and timelines.
Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers for quality, price competitiveness, and reliability.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing in alignment with project and company requirements.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the accuracy of material specifications and delivery schedules.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with Supply Chain Manager, Project Managers, and Senior Engineers to align procurement and logistics strategies with project needs.
