Organization – Marine Services', Shipping Solutions
JOB Purpose –
Responsible for managing empty container depot and CFS procurement by coordinating with depot partners, surveyors, and ICS vendors to ensure efficient container handling, repairs, storage, transportation, and operational compliance. Acts as the primary point of contact for commercial negotiations, vendor management, and operational support across ISC.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage end-to-end procurement for Empty Container Depots (ECD) and Container Freight Stations (CFS), ICD’s and Surveyors etc.
- Coordinate with depot vendors, CFS operators, surveyors, and ICS service providers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, if required
- Evaluate and onboard new depot and logistics vendors based on operational capability, infrastructure, compliance, and commercial competitiveness.
- Handle commercial negotiations for storage, handling, transportation, cleaning, M&R, LOLO, and other depot-related services.
- Prepare and evaluate RFQs, compare commercial proposals, and recommend cost-effective solutions also conduct third party audit/depot surveys to facility.
- Draft, review, and execute service agreements, NDAs, appendices, and rate schedules in coordination with internal legal and procurement teams.
- Monitor vendor performance through KPIs, audits, service levels, and operational reviews.
- Ensure timely implementation of approved tariffs, service contracts, and rate revisions.
- Support depot audits by tracking corrective actions and ensuring vendor compliance with operational and safety standards.
- Liaise with Operations, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Customer Service, and regional teams to resolve operational issues.
- Prepare work summary monthly/quarterly/yearly, vendor performance dashboards, commercial analyses, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization while maintaining service quality.
- Ensure all documentation is maintained accurately and complies with internal policies and regulatory requirement.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Min 2 years of experience in procurement preferably from Shipping.
- Min Graduation
