About the Opportunity
We are hiring for a client in the freight forwarding and logistics industry that is expanding its operations in China.
This role is ideal for logistics, freight forwarding, or international trade professionals who want to contribute to a growing international business. The successful candidate will support pricing operations, supplier negotiations, profitability analysis, and commercial activities while helping establish and strengthen the company’s presence across Asia.
As part of the expansion team, this position offers exposure to pricing, operations, procurement, sales support, and international logistics activities.
Key Responsibilities
Rate Management & Pricing Administration
• Update and maintain FCL, LCL, and Air Freight rates within the rate management system
• Monitor seasonal rate adjustments and market changes
• Maintain version control and traceability of published rates
• Ensure proper documentation of agreements and pricing records
Supplier & Client Coordination
• Request quotations and confirm rates with carriers, airlines, and logistics partners
• Coordinate with the sales team regarding customer pricing and commercial conditions
• Participate in supplier negotiations while validating margins and commercial terms
Analysis, Control & Issue Resolution
• Investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies and escalations
• Validate consistency between customer quotations and actual costs
• Follow incidents through to resolution
Optimization & Commercial Support
• Identify opportunities for logistics cost optimization
• Support supplier and route profitability analysis
• Assist with improving quotation templates and pricing processes
Operational Support
• Support booking submissions and space release coordination
• Assist with documentation management and shipment tracking activities
• Coordinate Bill of Lading release processes
• Provide general operational coordination support across Asia
Business Development Support
• Prospect potential customers through LinkedIn, WeChat, email campaigns, databases, and other business development channels
• Prepare and present quotations to local and international customers
• Participate in meetings with prospective clients
• Build relationships through conferences, trade fairs, commodity exhibitions, and networking events
Candidate Requirements
Mandatory Requirements
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in logistics operations, freight forwarding, or international trade within the freight forwarding industry
• Completed Bachelor’s Degree in International Trade, Logistics, Foreign Trade, Business Administration, or a related field
• Advanced English proficiency with the ability to communicate with customers and suppliers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Knowledge of logistics platforms and shipping company portals
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
• Monthly Salary: USD 1,800 Gross
• Probation Period: 2 Months
• Social Contributions: In accordance with PRC labor regulations
• Annual Leave: Based on PRC statutory entitlement and employee tenure
• Paid Sick Leave: As per PRC labor regulations
• Medical Coverage: Through statutory social insurance
• Additional Time Off:
• Birthday leave
• Half-day leave per month (based on tenure)
Bonus & Incentives
• Performance-based bonus structure may be introduced following company consolidation and achievement of business objectives
• Potential sales-related commissions may apply and will be communicated during the offer stage
