Pricing Business Analyst – REMOTE Jobs in Oak Brook, IL at Condata Global Inc
The position of Pricing Business Analyst is a key role responsible for ensuring that the Carrier’s invoicing adheres to the current Client’s contracted rates and discounts. The Pricing Business Analyst will collaborate with Operations team members to develop and implement strategies, optimize processes, and drive overall operational excellence in the area of ensuring our client’s billing from the Carrier complies with the terms and discounts of their Carrier agreement.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Gathering and organizing all parcel clients Carrier contracts and rate sheets
Identifying pricing actions, conversion and margin rates according to client’s specific needs and dispositions
Monitoring pricing changes and developing analysis tools to provide reporting to Sales and Management
Loading the client discounts and new rates into the database
Managing expiring contracts and requesting updated contacts in a timely manner
Analyzing rate audit results and competently identifying rating errors made by the Carrier’s billing system.
Provide regular Rate audit results reporting to leadership.
Maintain knowledge and stay abreast of developments in the industry via information obtained from industry publications, government agencies, and client services and market views.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, operations, research, statistics, math, economics or related analytical discipline preferred
Financial management experience with planning, forecasting, and business analysis
2 – 4 years relevant work experience
Prior work experience at a Parcel Carrier or with a Freight Auditing company is preferred
Strong project management, analytical and quantitative abilities with a process mindset
Effective organizational and communication skills
Knowledge and experience with MS Office Suite, Outlook, and SharePoint
Knowledge and experience using Excel pivot tables, SQL/SSMS queries, graphing, PowerPoint
In-depth knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, Cognos, Business Objects or SPSS) and practical experience analyzing data, program metrics and performance.
Job Type: Full-time Remote
Base Salary: The base salary for this role ranges from $65,500 to $94,500
