Pressure Truck Operator Jobs in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada at Aureus Energy Services Inc.
Aureus is actively recruiting Pressure Truck Operators, with a Class 3 or higher driver’s license, with relevant pumping experience to train on Hot Oilers. Home every/most nights (Grande Prairie) and competitive pay with a monthly salary and competitive hourly wage. Aureus also has a large shop with company Mechanics and a leading maintenance program on the equipment.
Your job duties & responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
Safety focus (Safe Work Practices, Safe Operating Procedures) is your top priority; core safety skills training will be provided
Monitor conditions and maintenance of all equipment with a focus on safety and environment
Safe operation of high-pressure well servicing equipment and Class 3 vehicles:
Our Hot Oiler/Pressure trucks are capable of heating all types of fluids (Water, Frac Oil, Glycol, Water and Methanol mix etc.)
Basic operations of heating of fluid through the use of heat exchangers and pumps.
Experience & Training
Must possess a clean driver’s Abstract
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Valid safety tickets required
Previous heating/oil field experience would be an asset, but not a requirement
Previous experience as a Pump
Operator, Well Tester, or Service Rig Hand is considered an asset
Must have a Mechanical Aptitude
Physical Requirements
Must be physically fit and able to pass our pre-employment screening
Physical requirements include bending, safely lifting up to 20 kgs, working in a noisy and sometimes dusty environment
Willing to work outdoors and in inclement weather
Skills & Expectations
Travel to remote regions on winter roads with potential to work alone
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
Willing to work nights, weekends, holidays
Willing to comply with all safety policies and procedures
Willing to comply with Aureus’ drug & alcohol-free and harassment-free work environment
