Role
Goldstar Transport is on the look out for an experienced Fleet Scheduler to lead a team of professional truck drivers on a full-time basis. This role will cover the afternoon shift, from 1pm, Monday to Friday, and involves:
- Scheduling a fleet of trucks and drivers
- Managing client booking times
- Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships
- Ensuring the safety of staff and customers
- Assisting the wider Operations team
- Helping drivers with maintaining licenses, qualifications, inductions, and VOCs
- Handling administration and data entry
What You'll Bring
- 2+ years' experience in a similar role
- Comprehensive understanding of load restraint principles, fatigue management guidelines, and COR legislation
- Effective communication skills with drivers, management, and customers
- Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail
- Experience with MT Data operating systems is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- A positive attitude and works well in a group environment
