A. Job Description:
- Receive sales orders from the Sales team.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders to obtain quotations, arrange bookings, submit requests for approval, and handle issues related to empty container release, free time, demurrage/detention (Dem/Det), shipment delays, and vessel rollovers. Prepare consolidated international ocean freight reports.
- Develop shipment plans, including detailed schedules for each shipment, supplier loading schedules, transportation schedules, and QC inspection schedules. Monitor and report shipment progress from finished goods suppliers and transportation providers.
- Directly manage and supervise the QC team to ensure product quality and packaging comply with customer requirements. Handle issues arising during the loading and packing process.
- Verify and confirm Debit Notes with freight forwarders.
- Source and evaluate suppliers for raw materials, freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, and port services based on pricing, quality, service, and payment terms.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.
B. Candidate Requirements:
- Graduated from a college or university in Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, or related fields.
- At least 2 year of experience in import-export operations at forwarding companies.
- Proficient in office computer skills.
- Ability to work in a team or independently and handle work pressure.
