Full-Time Position
Flomax Compression Inc. is looking for a motivated Apprentice or Journeyman Parts Technician / Shipper Receiver to join our team in Williston, North Dakota. This is a full-time position supporting our shop and field operations in the natural gas compression industry.
The successful candidate will be organized, dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
– Receive, inspect, and accurately process incoming parts, equipment, and materials
– Pick, pack, and prepare parts and equipment for shipment to field locations and customers
– Load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment and safe material-handling practices
– Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts
– Identify, label, organize, and properly store parts and materials
– Process shipping and receiving documentation, including packing slips and purchase orders
– Coordinate shipments with couriers, freight companies, vendors, and field personnel
– Prepare parts orders and kits for field technicians and service jobs
– Assist technicians and other departments with identifying and locating parts
– Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts and warehouse area
– Assist with purchasing and sourcing parts when required
– Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times
– Perform other parts, warehouse, and shipping duties as required
Qualifications
– Apprentice or Journeyman Parts Technician certification is an asset
– Previous experience in parts, shipping/receiving, warehouse, or the oil and gas industry is preferred
– Natural gas compression experience is a strong asset
– Knowledge of CAT and Waukesha engines, compressors, valves, separators, and related equipment is an asset
– Strong organizational and time-management skills
– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
– Good computer skills and the ability to learn inventory and purchasing systems
– Valid driver’s license
– Ability to safely lift and move parts and materials as required
