Position: Parts Runner (Ruth Lake)

Position Scope

NACG is looking forParts Runnersto work on a remote mining site in the Fort McMurray area. You must be well-organized and favor safety above everything else.

This is your opportunity to join one of the safest and largest contracts in the region.

For this role, NACG offers a combined rate of up to$51.29/houras well as room for growth!

Where You’ll Be Working

Site:Ruth Luke

Schedule:14×14 (days) – 12 hours (paid for 11.5 hours)

Accommodations:Camp not provided.

Transportation:Bussing provided to and from Fort McMurray to site.

Overtime:Provided after 8 hours a day or 44 hours a week.

We are proud to work with the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 955. Successful candidates will become a part of that union.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing

Perform general warehouse duties, including stocking, organizing, and maintaining inventory.

Efficiently organize and store parts and supplies to ensure accessibility and properstock management.

Pick up parts and supplies from local vendors as required.

Transfer parts between sites and business units and manage general deliveries with accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

What Makes You The One

Proficiency withinventory managementsoftware and warehouse operations.

Previous warehouse experience is mandatory.

Proven experience operating forklifts and loaders is required.

Possess a valid driver’s license.

Experience in the mining industry is considered an asset.

If you are chosen to move forward in our hiring process for a site-based role, you will be asked to provide the following:

Provide a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and ability to provide a recent Driver’s Abstract

Valid CSO or BSO, Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness, Silica Awareness, OHS Alberta Legislation Awareness, Wood Buffalo Wildlife Awareness

Be subject to Random Testing at:
Suncor, Suncor Fort Hills and Kearl sites

Undergo and successfully pass the following pre-employment testing:

Breath Alcohol Test

Urine Drug Test

Fitness-to-Work Health Assessment

Audiometric Testing

Vision Screening

Criminal Record Check

Once dispatched the following processes will occur:

Will receive a call from NACG to set up all required pre-employment testing

An email will be sent with all required New Hire Paperwork to be filled out

After all results and paperwork are received by NACG, candidates will be contacted by Site Admin to schedule orientation and confirm your start date and other site-specific details.
