Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and experienced Owner Operators with a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to join our transportation team. As an Owner Operator, you will be responsible for independently managing your trucking operations while ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of freight across various routes. This role mainly consists of transporting reefer trailers; we will tell you where to pickup and drop-off and you just have to bring the Semi there, hitch up, and be on your way. BCA fingerprint background check required.
Responsibilities/Requirments
- Able to pass a BCA fingerprinting background check
- Safely operate tractor-trailers across over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery times while adhering to route driving best practices.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with hazardous materials regulations when applicable.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery status, or any issues encountered during transit.
Experience
- Proven experience as a commercial truck driver with a valid Class A CDL license.
- Demonstrated expertise in driving tractor-trailers, including flatbed, tanker, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or refrigerated trailers.
- Familiarity with over-the-road (OTR) driving routes and logistics cargo handling procedures.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT requirements, hazardous materials regulations (Hazmat), and safety standards for transporting dangerous goods.
- Experience in load & unload operations, truck loading/unloading procedures, and manual handling techniques.
- Ability to operate various types of commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers with manual transmission or automatic options.
- Strong navigation skills using GPS systems for route planning and execution.
- Delivery driver experience preferred; familiarity with freight management and route driving is highly valued.

Pay: $6,154.94 – $6,757.65 per week
